The sounds are numbered and played within so-called "time brackets"; that is, the sound must begin within one set time frame and end within a second. Indeterminacy consists of 60 texts of completely different lengths, for which only 60 seconds are allotted. The two speakers will recite them in a randomly determined order.

The Conduction Series | Under the Volcano Cake

The Conduction Series is an improvisational group of ten radio artists from across the Americas who come together once a month to perform a live radio show for WGXC in New York State. As a special treat, they are performing live on CITR. For Art's Birthday they will join together with special guest (and cake baker) Deanne Achong (in Newfoundland) to play with the sounds of mixing, baking, lava flowing, erupting, cooling and eating. All in celebration of CITR's annual 24 hour radio art extravaganza.
The site is open to all Art's Birthday participants to post their event information. The website is supported by ABC:V (Art's Birthday Collective: Vancouver).
